My name is Anthony Cocciolo. I am an Assistant Professor at the Pratt Institute School of Information and Library Science. I completed my doctorate from the Communication, Computing, and Technology in Education program at Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior to Pratt, I was the Head of Technology for the EdLab and the Gottesman Libraries at Teachers College, Columbia University. I completed my undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside.
My research interests are in the uses of emerging information and communications technologies (ICTs) to enhance libraries and education. My research and teaching are in the areas of Social Media, Digital Archives, Digital Libraries, and Educational Technology. Please see my vita, teaching, publications and presentations for more info.
